SWEAT At Zero... and see how far you can go!
I have always enjoyed the benefits of sweat… of challenging my heart rate to where I feel out of breath and break a sweat or mostly pools of sweat! I am one of those that fortunately or unfortunately doesn’t sweat too easy so takes me a while to get there. While the journey to sweat is hard and I don’t always enjoy it, the after feeling keeps me motivated along the way! I always encourage everyone I talk to about finding something that will help them sweat. It is he antidote for physical and mental health.
So now where does the Zero come from? You may laugh at this but here it goes – while doing crunches or lifting weights etc., I have always counted my reps starting at the number Zero — zero to 10 reps is really 11. So it’s about setting the mindset to push yourself a bit further. Plus, the Internet claims the number Zero was worshiped by those in ancient civilizations, applauded and admired by mathematical scholars since 7th century etc. So Zero has a good reputation and helped validate its inclusion in the name!
